Comparative Representations of Project and Alternatives
The illustrations on this page were prepared using massing models developed by the Environmental Simulation Center from data provided in the Atlantic Yards proposal General Project Plan. The massing models were loaded into Google Earth. Each of the plans is presented from the same perspective for accurate and fair comparison. Clicking on any of the small illustrations below will call up a larger version in a separate browser window.
There are 4 perspective sets.
Set 1
is a view looking North from the air above Flatbush and Vanderbilt. This set only shows the mass of the projects, and not of the existing buildings.
Set 2
is a view looking NE from above the intersection of 4th Avenue and Warren Street. This set only shows the mass of the projects, and not of the existing buildings.
- Set 3 is a view looking North from above the intersection of Carlton Avenue and Warren Street. This set shows the mass of the projects and of the surrounding buildings.
- Set 4 is a view looking NE from above the intersection of 4th Avenue and Bergen Street. This set shows the mass of the projects and of the surrounding buildings.
