CBN’s mission requires, among other things, that it gather information from Brooklyn residents and businesspeople to help quantify the demographic and economic conditions in CBN’s catchment area, and document potential impacts of development as reported by community members. CBN’s mission also includes outreach to residents in the catchment area to inform them of proposed development plans and the status of required review processes under New York City or New York State law.
