In keeping with its then stated mission to ensure that the people of Brooklyn be able to fully participate in the Environmental Review of the proposed Brooklyn Atlantic Yards, in December of 2005 the Council of Brooklyn Neighborhoods drafted a Request for Proposal (RFP) for technical assistance in evaluating the anticipated Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS.) This RFP was initially sent to over 20 respected NYS engineering firms. It is available for examination here.
